Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tbsp. bacon fat optional
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil for skillet or griddle

Instructions

  • Beat egg in a medium bowl. Add bread crumbs and whisk until completely mixed. Add ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, salt, pepper and bacon fat. Use hands or a large spoon to mix together until all ingredients are combined. Shape into 5 or 6 even sized patties. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Remove burgers from refrigerator, and let sit for additional 15 minutes. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, cook the patties on each side until an internal temperate of 165 degrees is reached. This should take approximately 5 minutes on each side.
  • Serve warm on buns with toppings of choice.
