Servings 4

Ingredients

  • 4 center cut pork chops (thick cut)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (half of lemon)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced or chopped)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl add olive oil, dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire, lemon juice, brown sugar, italian seasoning, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper; whisk well.
  • Place pork chops in gallon-size resealable bag. Pour marinated into bag with pork chops and press out excess air. Seal bag and shake bag until all pork chops are coated. Marinate for 1-2 hours at room temperature.
  • Preheat grill or pan to medium high heat (approx. 375 degrees). Cook until internal temperature indicates 145 degrees on an instant read thermometer (approximately 3 minutes on each side). Let pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

An indoor or outdoor grill can be used.  If neither is available, a skillet or pan can be used.
Pork chops can be marinated for a maximum of 8 hours.  If marinating for longer than 2 hours, transfer meat to refrigerator to marinate.  Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour before cooking.
