If using whole wings, separate the drums from the flats. Skip this step if wings are already separated.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In large bowl, season wings with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and baking powder. Use your hand, or a large spoon to make sure all wings are thoroughly seasoned.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, and place a wire rack on top. Place wings on rack and bake in oven for 45-minutes. Wings should be golden brown and crispy.
To make butter sauce, in a small bowl or measuring cup, add melted butter, minced garlic, black pepper, pinch of salt, parsley and parmesan cheese. Whisk until mixed. If butter starts to separate before you toss it in your wings, just whisk it again. Taste and more salt if needed.
Add wings to a large bowl and toss in butter sauce. Garnish with more parmesan cheese and optional parsley. Serve with parmesan dipping sauce or sauce of choice.
