These are the BEST turkey burgers! They are seasoned to perfection and are just as flavorful as a beef burger. Also, they can be ready in as little as 15 minutes.
Turkey burgers are burger patties made out of ground turkey. They are perfect for people that enjoy the flavors of a beef burger, but don’t eat beef. However, they are not limited to non-beef eaters. Anyone can enjoy burgers.
Over the years, I have come to notice that many stray away from turkey burgers. Primarily because of the way they were cooked. I’ve heard people say they were too dry, or lacks flavor. My recipe on the other hand, is the total opposite. My burgers, on the other hand, are juicy and loaded with flavor.
Why my recipe is different from others
The key ingredients I use to enhance flavor in my turkey burgers are Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and lastly bacon fat. Yes, bacon fat. Although my recipe leaves bacon fat as an option, I still highly recommend using it. If you don’t eat pork, then by all means, omit the bacon fat. Another alternative is duck fat. However, if you eat pork, please use the bacon fat. I promise you won’t regret it.
Ground turkey’s texture is very mushy and soft. Because of the delicate texture, it’s sometimes hard to form patties, without them falling apart. This is where the egg and breadcrumbs come into play. The egg and bread crumbs serves as a binder to help keep those patties shaped and together.
Equipment
The only equipment I recommend is the cast-iron griddle made by Lodge. It’s great for burgers, and can be purchased at the link below.

How to serve turkey burgers
Turkey burgers are versatile just like any other burger and be served or eaten any way you want. I like to eat my turkey burger on brioche buns with gouda cheese, lettuce tomato and sautéed onion. The gouda cheese along with that perfectly seasoned patty will change your life.
