Salmon BLT w/Lemon Dill Mayo

When it comes to sandwiches, BLT’s have always been a favorite. However, I’ve taken this delicious sandwich to the next level by adding salmon. I also prepared a lemon dill mayo, which gives this sandwich an extra boost.

How to prepare

This is probably the easiest thing you will ever prepare, and I’m not over exaggerating by saying this. The only thing you’re doing is preparing the mayo, cooking the salmon and bacon, then preparing the sandwich.

When preparing the mayo, you will need mayo, fresh dill and lemon juice. Dried dill weed can be used as well, but if you’re going this route, it will require more than what’s listed to below.

The bacon can be cooked according to the package directions. However, I like to cook my bacon in the oven for 10 minutes on 425 degrees, but feel free to cook yours however you like.

I love this sandwich on Ciabatta bread, but another great option is brioche bread. But if you can find Ciabatta bread, that’s the best bread to use in my own personal opinion.

What to serve with the Salmon BLT

This sandwich is good with chips, soup or salad. This particular time, I served it with macaroni salad and it was the perfect combination.
